Stand Up for Science

Your money pays for government research – but Mr. Harper continues to muzzle scientists and cut off their ability to share information. Justin Trudeau believes scientists should be able to speak freely and present their research to the public.

A Liberal government will:

• Eliminate all regulations that censor government scientists, giving them the freedom to speak about their work.
• Create a central portal for government-funded or government-created science for ease of access.
• Establish a Chief Science Officer to ensure government science is freely available to the public.
