Voting Safely During COVID-19

Vote in person:
Elections Canada is taking strong measures to keep voters safe in Toronto Centre, including protective equipment for poll workers, physical distancing, hand sanitizer stations, single-use pencils, and much more. Stopping in to vote won’t feel too different from your last trip for groceries!

Vote early:
Advanced polls are open 9 AM to 9 PM from Friday Oct. 16 to Monday Oct. 19
Vote on Election Day:
Polls are open 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM on Monday Oct. 26
Vote at the Elections Canada office:
You can also vote at the Toronto Centre Elections Canada office before Oct. 20 at 6 PM:

What you’ll need to vote:
One piece of valid government-issued I.D. with your photo, name and current address, such as a driver’s license or government ID card. If you don’t have this, please visit Elections Canada website to see what other I.D. is acceptable.
Vote by mail:
Safety protocols will be in place at all voting locations, but if you prefer to stay home, you can also vote by mail.
Request your Mail-In Ballot at www.elections.ca or from the election office by Oct. 20 at 6 PM.
Your completed ballot must be received before polls close on Oct. 26, so don’t wait!
