Statement by Liberal Party of Canada Leader Justin Trudeau on Rosh Hashanah

OTTAWA – The Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, Justin Trudeau, today issued the following statement on Rosh Hashanah:

“Today, family and friends in the Jewish community come together to celebrate the occasion of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.”

“Rosh Hashanah is a time to reflect on the past year and to look forward to the promises of the future. This is also an opportunity for all Canadians to reflect on the important contributions and traditions of the Jewish community in Canada.”
