Mulcair ducking debates because he has no answers

OTTAWA – After last night, it is no surprise that Thomas Mulcair is ducking more debates. He has no answers on the issues that matter to Canadians.

Mulcair has said he will drop out of the most-viewed election debates. Now he is behaving like Stephen Harper, when Canadians want real change.

This is not the first time we have seen Mulcair do his best Harper impression. For days after this campaign started, Mulcair avoided journalists and Canadians – and their questions.

If Mulcair pulls out of the widely-viewed consortium television debates, we will only have one French-language debate, which is unacceptable to Canadians.

Mulcair had no answers for Canadians yesterday, so it is little surprise that he will not agree to more debates today.

Only Justin Trudeau has a strong team and new plan that will make a real difference for all Canadians.
