Statement by Liberal Leader Bob Rae on the International Day of Pink

HAPPY VALLEY-GOOSE BAY, NL– Liberal Leader Bob Rae made the following statement on the International Day of Pink against Bullying, Discrimination, Homophobia and Transphobia:

“On the International Day of Pink, communities across Canada join together to celebrate diversity while challenging homophobia, transphobia and all forms of bullying.

We all have a role to play in ensuring people feel safe and secure, welcomed and accepted. Be it in our schools, our workplaces or the broader community, let us show our support for diversity.

On behalf of the Liberal Party of Canada and our Parliamentary Caucus, allow me to reaffirm our commitment and join all Canadians who seek to end bullying on this International Day of Pink.”
