What happened yesterday wasn’t an accident.
The progress we made in all four by-election ridings wasn’t a stroke of luck.
We elected two new Liberal MPs because of you — your hope, your hard work, and everything you’ve done for this movement.
I can’t thank you — the candidates, campaign teams, and Canadians across the country who made this possible — enough.
When Chrystia Freeland and Emmanuel Dubourg take their seats in the House of Commons, it will be because thousands of Canadians like you came together to be a part of something big.
Yesterday was an early test of this organization and our ability to offer a strong, national alternative to the Harper Conservatives.
By staying positive and talking about the real priorities of Canadians, we won more votes than any other party and made big gains in every part of the country: English, French, East, and West
Canadians voted for leaders who are focused on the priorities of middle class Canadians, not scandal and spin.
They voted for leaders who will be their community’s voice in Ottawa, not the Prime Minister’s voice in their community.
They voted for change. And that’s what we’ll deliver.
Take a moment to congratulate our by-election candidates — there’s lots of hard work ahead, and we’re counting on you to stand with us as we bring change to Canada:

Thanks.
