Statement by Liberal Party of Canada Leader Justin Trudeau on the New Brunswick Election Results

OTTAWA – The Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, Justin Trudeau, today issued the following statement on the election of Brian Gallant as Premier-designate of New Brunswick:

“I congratulate Premier-designate Brian Gallant on his election victory. The people of New Brunswick voted for change – they voted for a government focused on jobs and the economy. I’m thrilled that New Brunswick will be represented by Brian and his team, as they work to expand opportunities for New Brunswick families.

“I look forward to working closely with Brian as we build a stronger New Brunswick with investment in infrastructure, education, and trade. I am confident that he will be a strong advocate for middle class growth and economic prosperity in the province.”
