Chrystia Freeland Wins Liberal Party of Canada Nomination for Toronto Centre

TORONTO- Members of the Toronto Centre Federal Liberal Association met on Sunday to elect the candidate who will represent the Liberal Party of Canada in the upcoming by-election in Toronto Centre. After an exciting and engaging race, they selected Chrystia Freeland.
Ms. Freeland is a leading executive, thinker and author on global business and economic issues. She has worked chiefly with the Financial Times, the Globe and Mail and Thomson Reuters.
Welcoming her nomination, Ms. Freeland stated, “I am thrilled to have been elected to represent the Liberal Party of Canada in the riding of Toronto Centre. I now intend to get down to work preparing for the upcoming by-election campaign.”
