Introducing the 2016 Summer Leadership Program!

John McCallum gave me my first job on Parliament Hill and it was a great learning experience.

All these years later I’m proud to announce the 2016 Summer Leadership Program, a summer job initiative that will offer a number of young Canadians an experience similar to the one I had.

With jobs available on Parliament Hill and at the Liberal Party of Canada, if it seems like we’re opening up political Ottawa to offer this opportunity as widely as possible, don’t be surprised — that’s exactly what we’re doing.

Your Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, has made a personal commitment to bring new leadership and a new tone to Ottawa, and this summer that new leadership could be yours.

And that means looking for a diverse set young of Canadians from coast-to-coast-to-coast to come join our team this summer as members of our Summer Leadership Program.

As a paid, full-time participant over the summer, you will join the passionate, collaborative, and data-driven team that’s hard at work across Canada.

Whether it’s working with our Liberal team on Parliament Hill, or joining the team at LPC HQ, or at one of our provincial offices, I can’t wait to welcome you to our team.
