Statement by Liberal Party of Canada Leader Justin Trudeau on Passover

OTTAWA – The Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, Justin Trudeau, issued the following statement on the occasion of Passover:

“As families gather around the seder table to share the story of the Exodus – from generation to generation – let us reflect on the journey from slavery to freedom, and celebrate the peace we enjoy and cherish as Canadians.

“This celebration of triumph over adversity gives all Canadians an opportunity to reflect on the great contributions of our country’s vibrant Jewish community.

“On behalf of the Liberal Party of Canada and our Parliamentary Caucus, my family and I extend our very best wishes on this Passover.
