Statement by Liberal Party of Canada Leader Justin Trudeau on Thanksgiving

GATINEAU – The Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, Justin Trudeau, today issued the following statement on Thanksgiving:

“Today, Canadians across the country will gather around dinner tables with family and friends to share meals and give thanks for life’s many blessings.

“Thanksgiving serves as an important reminder that, while Canada is blessed with many riches, not everyone benefits equally from this bounty. Let us consider those less fortunate and take time to give charitably to others, not only today, but every day.

“On behalf of the Liberal of Party of Canada, Sophie and I would like to wish all Canadians a very happy Thanksgiving. May your holiday be filled with good food and great company.”
