Join Justin for a Q&A on foreign policy
September 18, 2013
Today at 3:00pm Eastern time, you’re invited to join Justin Trudeau, Lieutenant-General (ret.) Andrew Leslie, and me for a live Q&A on foreign policy.
You don’t have to RSVP – just click here a few minutes before 3:00pm Eastern time to join the conversation.
We’ll be taking your questions, and you can submit your own online here or by tweeting at @JustinTrudeau.
Justin has asked Andrew Leslie and me to lead an International Affairs Council of Advisors because he understands that Canada can be a force for good around the world.
I know that you also understand this. Recently, Canadians have watched the ongoing crisis in Syria unfold with great concern for the Syrian people. The Liberal Party believes that Canada has an important humanitarian role to play in helping victims of the conflict. This is your chance to ask Justin, Andrew Leslie, and myself about this and other foreign policy issues.
It’s important that we continue to hear from you and other Canadians as we craft our platform. Our approach to policy-making is open, transparent, and inclusive, because that’s the only way we’re going move this country forward together.
Please click here a little before 3:00pm Eastern to watch live and be part of this important discussion.
Remember: you can submit a question in advance here, on Facebook here, or on Twitter by tweeting at Justin (@JustinTrudeau).
Thank you.
Marc Garneau
PS. If you can’t make it today at 3:00pm Eastern, a video from the event will be posted here.
