Liberals launch new national ad campaign focused on moving Canada forward — for everyone

Ottawa, ON – Today, as Liberals across the country connect with their neighbours as part of the party’s latest National Day of Action, the Liberal Party of Canada is launching a new advertising campaign that focuses on the work ahead to keep Canada moving forward — for everyone.

New national ads featuring Justin Trudeau will begin to air on television and as part of a comprehensive digital engagement campaign this week. The ads highlight the resilience of Canadians through the pandemic, and the importance of doing even more to continue building a better future.

“In Canada, we have each other’s backs,” said Justin Trudeau, Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, in the new English-language ad. “We pull together to make things better—and leave no one behind. That’s the Canada I know, and the Canada I fight for each and every day. So let’s think even bigger, Canada. Let’s be relentless, and let’s keep moving forward—for everyone.”

Canadians have worked together to fight COVID-19, and since day one of the pandemic, Justin Trudeau and the Liberal team have done everything it takes to keep Canadians safe, healthy, and supported:

  • We ensured that workers and families could pay their bills and keep food on the table with the Canada Emergency Response Benefit;
  • We helped small businesses keep their doors open and their workers on the payroll with the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy and rent assistance; and
  • We kept Canadians safe by securing enough vaccines to fully vaccinate every eligible Canadian by July 2021 — two months ahead of schedule.

In order to finish the fight against COVID-19 and build a Canada that is healthier, fairer, and more competitive, Canadians need to continue to work together. While Erin O’Toole’s Conservatives want to take Canada back with cuts to the services that Canadians rely on, Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party are the only team with a real plan to keep Canada moving forward — for everyone.
