Liberals nominate Lina Boivin as new Team Trudeau candidate for Chicoutimi-Le Fjord

Chicoutimi-Le Fjord, QC- Local Liberals in Chicoutimi-Le Fjord have nominated Lina Boivin, a devoted community leader and businesswoman, as the official Team Trudeau candidate in the upcoming federal by-election.

“We are very proud to welcome Lina Boivin as our newest Team Trudeau candidate for this important by-election,” said Suzanne Cowan, President of the Liberal Party of Canada. ” Lina has demonstrated an incredible passion for making a difference in the lives of families in her community, and her leadership will ensure that Chicoutimi-Le Fjord is always at the heart of decisions in Ottawa.”

Lina has deep roots in this community, where she obtained a Masters in Organizational Management and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Project Management at l’Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. As President of Boivin Management for the past decade, Lina has firsthand experience with the challenges that face small business owners and middle class families every day, and has shown her determination to contribute to the economic development of the region.

Lina has been involved with a number of community organizations in the past decade, including the Saguenay Businesswomen’s Association, the Fondation Ma Vie for the Chicoutimi Hospital, the Quebec division of the Canadian Cancer Society, and the Board of Directors for the Caisse Desjardins of Chicoutimi.
