Liberals nominate Mary Jean McFall as new Team Trudeau candidate for Leeds–Grenville–Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes

Brockville, ON – On Thursday, local Liberals in Leeds–Grenville–Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes were joined by the Hon. Lawrence MacAulay and Mark Gerretsen to nominate Mary Jean McFall, a devoted community advocate, lawyer, and former City Councilor, as the Team Trudeau candidate in the upcoming federal by-election.

Mary Jean has deep roots in the region’s agriculture sector, serving as a Director of Egg Farmers of Ontario and working as General Counsel to Burnbrae Farms. Most recently, she served as the Chief of Staff to Canada’s Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food. She has a unique understanding of the evolving local economy, and a deep commitment to building a better future for families throughout the region.
