New Liberal ad: Pulling together to keep Canada moving forward

Ottawa, ON – Today, the Liberal Party of Canada launched a new national ad to highlight how Canadians have continued to pull together through this pandemic, and the need to keep moving forward to make things better – and leave no one behind.

Canadians have worked together to beat this virus, and through it all the Liberal government has had their backs. Now, as Canadians work to finish the fight against COVID-19 and continue to roll-up our sleeves to get vaccinated, it’s time for us to choose the best path forward.

“Canadians always show up for one another,” said Justin Trudeau, Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada. “We pulled together when it was needed the most, because that’s how we accomplish big things. So let’s keep going.”

This election is about giving Canadians a choice on how we finish the fight against COVID-19 and build for the future. A re-elected Liberal government will:

  • Finish the fight against COVID-19 and finish the job on getting Canadians vaccinated;
  • Strengthen healthcare to keep Canadians safe and healthy, now and in the future;
  • Build affordable housing so all Canadians have a safe place to call home; and
  • Protect our environment and build a green recovery to fight climate change, create jobs, and grow the middle class.

Erin O’Toole’s Conservatives fought against much needed support for Canadians during this crisis, and now their only plan is to take Canada backward. Canadians need a government with a clear path forward for everyone, because finishing the fight against this virus, getting the job done on vaccines, and building back better can’t wait. Justin Trudeau and the Liberal party are the only team with a real plan that will leave no one behind and keep Canada moving forward – for everyone.
