Ryan Maguhn nominated as Liberal candidate for Yellowhead by-election

HINTON, AB – On Saturday, October 18, members of the Yellowhead Federal Liberal Association nominated Ryan Maguhn as the candidate who will represent the Liberal Party of Canada in the upcoming federal by-election in Yellowhead.

Ryan was born and raised in Hinton, Alberta, where he lives with his wife Nicole and their four-year-old son, Marek. A strong believer in community service, Ryan entered municipal politics in 2012 when he successfully ran for Town Council. He was subsequently re-elected in 2013. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a teaching certificate from Bemidji State University in Minnesota.

Welcoming his nomination, Ryan stated, “I am thrilled to represent the Liberal Party of Canada in Yellowhead. This is an exciting opportunity to ensure that voters in Yellowhead have a strong voice to represent them in Ottawa on important issues. I look forward to engaging residents in our communities, and earning their trust, over the course of the by-election campaign.”
