Statement by Liberal Party of Canada Leader Justin Trudeau on Easter

OTTAWA – The Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, Justin Trudeau, issued the following statement on the occasion of Easter:

“This weekend, millions of Canadians will join with family and friends to celebrate the Easter holiday.

“Easter marks a special time for Christians, when they come together to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

“As we spend the weekend with those most important to us, let us pause to reflect on love for one another and sacrifice in the name of service. Let us also remember those in need at this time of year.

“On behalf of the Liberal Party of Canada and our Parliamentary Caucus, Sophie and I wish you and your family a wonderful Easter weekend.”
